About me

HELLO!!

My name is Sarah and I am a mother to 3 amazing children and a hobbyist photographer. I also work full time as the Admissions Director at local nursing home. My life is busy and my schedule is full but I cannot imagine it any other way! I meet lots of people everyday between work and home life and love that I am either helping them find some place safe where their loved ones can go and are cared for or I am doing sessions with my clients to capture these moments in time that just go by too fast and are worth saving! Tons of precious moments, little and big, to hold dear. That’s why I do what I do. Because they're More Than Moments, they're memories you want to last a lifetime!

I have always loved to take pictures. Even as a kid I would always be the one behind the camera directing and posing to try to get the perfect shot. I invested in one of my first cameras after my oldest son was born in 2008 and FINALLY, the moments I was seeing and living were being turned into the beautiful captured art that takes your breath away when you look back!

I would always bring my camera along to the birthday parties, weddings, and other events and try to capture the best moments! I LOVED it! And turns out, I was pretty good at it! I learned a lot about lighting and the settings and what these cameras could really do if you push yourself to learn it! Many friends and family members encouraged me to offer my "Photographic Eye", attention to detail, and editing skills professionally - after many years, I listened!

I took the step (which seemed huge!) to go to the courthouse in 2013 and made it official. Things have blossomed from there ! I have done so much! From weddings to newborns, cake smashes to sports! I LOVE IT ALL! Who else gets paid to cuddle and play with a little baby?!? Or gets hired and pretty much given a back stage pass to THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY of someone's life!!?

I hope all my fans and followers bare with me as I update my growing business. If any of you know me, you know I really am a shy little book worm, that isn't too hip to new technology like "Blogging" and "Going LIVE"  -  heck, it took me 3 yrs to fill out this "about" section! As I grow older, I am growing more confident in my own skin and am beginning to branch out. I am always looking for new classes to improve my style and learn new tricks to the trade. There is a lot to learn out there!

Photography will always be a passion of mine to keep me busy, and who knows where life will take me in these unprecedented times we live in now. I am very fortunate to have a great career in health care, but I dream to one day be my own boss and work my own hours. With all the support and love I feel from my family, friends, and community, I feel that dream isn't too far out of my reach ! I enjoy all my clients and appreciate all the love, shares, and "word of mouth" that has gotten me this far.
